Donny Cox has been a Care Coordinator since January 2018. He feels he helps individuals and their families navigate a complex system to obtain assistance with their every day physical needs and advocate for their wellbeing.

He has:

•  Worked with the Medicaid state of Alaska programs since 2005
•  Overseen Personal Care Assistant Agencies, worked with the IDD population and group homes
•  Facilitated openings of Assisted Living homes
•  Worked with the State of Alaska Senior and Disabilities Services to obtain a view from the state’s side.

Donny went to school in Tempe Arizona and has always felt a bond with the IDD community. He feels he has a sense of calm and connection to assist and advocate for individuals.
